Not as many people have valance sheets these days. I hope I am not the only one who is shocked by this. A large proportion of the population won't know what they are. Being cleaner isn't the only benefit, there is the appearance factor too. We all struggle for space sometimes and a lot of our possessions end up under our beds. While we are just being economical with the space it can look ugly. The valance sheet can hide this mess from the world. You won't have to keep seeing that big ugly box of stuff causing a mess under the bed for any longer.
